Voices for our Coast: Port Mouton Bay
The Ecology Action Centre interviewed fishermen and concerned citizens from Port Mouton Bay as part of our Voices for our Coast video series. Concerned about the impact of open-cage aquaculture on the local lobster fishery in Port Mouton Bay, the community came together and fought to get the farmed fish removed from the Bay. The company agreed, and after two years of being aquaculture-free, the Bay is starting to see great signs of recovery. For more information visit:
